Sometimes Mother Nature Easily Outdoes us All!

Live most towns around the globe Galway is decked out for the Christmas Holiday. There are giant candy canes as tall as I am on the `treasure House. Browne Thomas was decked out with green garlands and twinkly lights before Halloween ever even arrived.  And the downtown pedestrian shopping mall has been growing with decorations since the day after Halloween.

Last weekend I strolled down to get a few things done for Christmas and stopped for a little Irish Coffee. I met some new friends there. 

Patrick and Caroline let me share their table as they chased Pokemon characters around. In fact you couldn't guess...he is in a traditional rock band, she is in social work. And they weren't the only bright spot of the evening. They seemed to attract the likes of people like this guy who came in riding a polar bear!

 As I was admiring the decorations that hung across the mall and noticing how nice they looked as the sun went down, I also caught the sun outshining all the work they did in Galway with decorations.

Sometimes Mother Nature outdoes us all without even trying.
