So Pretty in Pink!

I went to a concert the other night. It was a classical piano trio on campus. And it was in my favorite building on campus, called the Quad. I mean this building is one of the many things about this campus that drew me to this school. And it was awash in pink. You could see it from a long ways away because it was nearly glowing. Of course I sent a picture to my daughter and told her I'd found her a perfect Princess Castle. It had been bathed in pink light in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month and it was amazing to see and to walk through the archway toward the concert hall.

I knew the concert hall was there, but had never actually been in it. And it was just as amazing. The stained glass windows and the architecture in the grand room made it feel like a church.

So as I listened to Beethoven I took in the arches and the grand ornate ceiling decorations.

And I gotta say, it was a beautiful evening all 'round. This campus still impresses me!
