Castle Parts

One of the cool things about Ireland is surely that there are castles everywhere you look. Even in the Mall. That's right, they are serious about protecting history here, so when a relic is discovered they build around it. Such was the case of the Corbett Court Mall.

A bit of the wall that once protected the city of Galway was discovered when they began building this mall.

And so the walls and two towers there were incorporated into the mall. You can rent the towers as retail shops. You can have coffee inside the mall and gaze over history.
