Moving Towards a New Chapter

Okay….let’s give this a shot. Very soon this will look much more like Erin’s Isle. But at this point it’s baby steps for me.

Aside from the day we set this up, this will be my first actual post. I have been blown away by the response to my column about ‘Bev’ and haters on social media. And while I have appreciated e-mail I’ve seen on it I have to say the point is not to hate on Bev, either. With that said, let’s get on with this blog.

I am determined to make this something everyone wants to visit. And I think one way to do that is to keep things brief. This post is more of a test to see if I can do it. I’ve certainly been slow to take on Facebook, but maybe this will be just what I need to get social.

Not even a month to go and so much to do. My house is almost ready to be rented. My thoughts have been in Ireland for months, but I still need a decent suitcase to make the trip. That will be on tomorrow’s to-do list. That and 18 hours of yard work!
