Frequently Asked Questions

Tours

  • No. Since so many people come from so many different places, everyone makes their own flight plans. That way you can use any credit card, airline miles or other perks from your own accounts.

  • Yes, if you want the double room booking price of the tour. Sometimes I do get singles who meet up and decide to share a room. But it's always better to book with a friend. It makes the trip more fun and saves a ton of money. If you choose to travel as a single there is a Single Supplement of $900 (to cover the price of your room)

  • Once you arrive at the hotel where we are meeting, all ground transportation is included. (trains, private coaches, ferries, etc.) All hotels and breakfasts are covered, as well as four dining experiences. And all entry fees and/or tickets to the museums and listed events and tours are included as well.

  • Most lunches will be on your own. Alcohol is not included. Outings you choose to take on free days are up to you.

Transportation to and from the airport is not included.

  • This tour is set up for two to a room. If you choose to request your own room rather than splitting the cost with a roommate, you are responsible for the full cost of the room. Therefore the single supplement mainly covers that extra hotel room cost each night.

Podcasts

  • You can find Erin's Isle podcasts here on my website, on Aer Lingus flights and on British Airways flights as well.

  • My podcasts are sound-rich audio stories of the places I love in Ireland. From the Dursey Island cable car to the Galway oyster farmers to the Donkey Sanctuary outside of Cork City. They are stories told by those who live there.

  • Because love the medium of audio that puts you into Ireland with sound. Because I am a writer by trade. And because I've found it a great way for those who can't travel to Ireland, to experience it.

  • Absolutely not! They are there to help you understand the real Ireland and not just what you see in pamphlets and at landmarks. I want everyone to hear them!

More

  • I'm glad you asked. I also post columns about our tours on my website. That section is called 'Tales from the Tours.' And I post Youtube videos as well. That channel is called Erin's Isle.

  • Yes, I do. I write regularly for Irish Central and for the Irish Herald. I have a few articles about Ireland in USA Today. And I have posted for Galway Daily.

  • If you tell me where you are going and your specific interests I am happy to offer suggestions on things you might want to include, as well as things to avoid if you can. Of course I hope you find the tours I've planned of interest, but the mission is to get you to Ireland and show you it's magic!
