What a fabulous long weekend I had in Clare Island. And now I am back in Galway, back in the wee house and back to work. I am embarking on the big assignment here, my dissertation. And I am focused. I got the coffee, the new notebook and the highlighters. Research? Not so much. But I will. You see, while many of my classmates are just starting their placements or are still working on them, I have finished all of that up. So this is it for me. A concentrated and thorough analysis of podcasts, their explosion and their impacts on the traditional media.  

My three weeks at the Press Office on campus here not only got me some new friends, and some time in my favourite building on campus.
