Triple the Fun in the Galway Sun!

When the sun comes out in Galway, people seriously flock to the bay.  The beaches along The Prom in Salthill are just at ten minute bus ride from the city center. And it's kind of an unwritten rule that people take time out from whatever they're doing to enjoy it whenever the sun makes a sustained appearance. And I'm not kidding when I tell you that could seriously be a two hour window.

Such was the case this week. Granted the mercury only hit about 20 degrees ...(barely 70 degrees Fahrenheit) but if it lasts more than two days it's considered a heatwave here.

And since there aren't really defined seasons in Ireland you really aren't sure what tomorrow will bring weather-wise.  A betting man would always put money on rain in some form. But an optimistic threesome like this is always willing to pose for photos...no matter what the weather brings.

So of course I dropped what I was doing in the wee house and hopped a bus as well for a couple of hours along the shoreline of Galway Bay.
