No matter what mood you are in, Murphy’s Ice Cream is sure to sweeten you up. It will add to your great mood, or take the edge off a sour day. After all, who could possible frown after a flavorful adventure involving ice cream made from the best ingredients available, and made into flavors including Sea Salt, Irish Brown Bread, Sticky Toffee Pudding and fresh Raspberry sorbet? From Elderberry to Irish Coffee and from Caramelized Chili Pepper to Dingle Gin, there is no shying away from flavor possibilities, and no concern over flavors that don’t work, because there are far and away so many flavors that do.

“We knew Ireland had the best milk and cream and eggs to making ice cream. We’ve just found the way to make if great, and memorable, and do it all through a company that honors every employee’s input,” says Sean Murphy. He and his brother Kieran own the company.

They have a story behind every flavor they try and are happy to share it all through employees at their Murphy’s Ice Cream Stores in Dingle, Galway, Killarney and Dublin.

Like Salt Water Ice Cream. It was created by Sean’s brother Kieran, who thought the taste of salt on your lips after a swim in the sea epitomized summer. Now they collect the salt water along the shore, purify it and it’s one of their most popular flavors.
