'Adare' ya to Build a Home by the Numbers
Adare Manor is an incredible estate to look at and enjoy; it’s an historic and luxurious place to be and it is stunning with it’s manicured gardens and beautiful golf course. But get this, it’s also a true study in math. That’s right, when it was originally constructed in 1720, by Master Builder James Connolly, it was to specifications that made it a true calendar house.
The architect was given the task, and he worked it in everywhere he could.
So check it out, there are 365 stained glass windows in the Manor House, no more, no less, to signify the 365 days of the year. There are four towers representing the four seasons. There are seven pillars in the great hall for the days of the week, 52 fireplaces throughout and a total of 12 chimneys.
And all the elements are there by design.
